During a short spell as in-house designer for an L.E.D. supplier one of the jobs I became proudest of was the design of the pathway lighting for the ridge pool bridge, Ballina.

The units were designed from scratch to fit in the existing handrail uprights, individual power supplies located remotely, out of sight.

As the supplier could not give photometric data on the LED light source, light level tests to ensure visual appeal and standards were met consisted mainly of me crawling around a blacked out room with various prototype units and a light meter.
